Hi, friends! In case you haven’t been following me for long, September has been a very busy month for me. Why? Well, after a year of maternity leave, I went back to work part time! Yep, I actually work outside the house doing things other than blogging. My day job is working as an elementary school speech language pathologist, or SLP for short. Elementary school life in COVID times is NOT easy, folks. But to motivate myself to work hard, I decided I would put a little extra effort into decorating my office. I previously posted about how I made some faux window boxes for my windowless office and decorated my filing cabinet. Today I’m showing off my new speech therapy posters that I designed myself! And as a bonus, I’m sharing them as free speech therapy printables for you to use for your own speech room decor!
Speech Therapy Poster 1: Places of Articulation
I can’t take all the credit for these posters. I definitely browsed posters on Etsy and saw some great posters for articulation and oral anatomy that inspired these designs. But I did design and order these as 18×24″ posters all with my educator’s account on Canva! I think each poster cost around $7 after tax. Click here to download the places of articulation poster.
Speech Therapy Poster 2: Oral Mech Exam
I love having functional and educational classroom decor. The oral mech exam idea was also inspired by an oral mech poster I saw on Etsy. I wrote mine with specific prompts that I use during my exams. It’s nice because now I won’t ever forget to check something! You can download the oral mech exam speech therapy poster here.
By the way, the hanging frames are magnetic! I got them off Amazon. They work perfectly for bulletin board classroom walls!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these printables! Let me know what other educational materials you’re interested in!
